For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed playing cards games.Card games are a great way to teach children to sort, count, multiply and more. Math skills can be taught with a cheap deck of cards and the many resources and ideas on the world wide web.

The goal is to be the first player to win all 52 cards
Addition War
Players turn over two cards and add them up. The player with the higher total, takes all 4 cards.
Multiplication War
Players turn over two card and multiplies. The Player with the higher total, takes all 4 cards.
- Remove face or bonus cards
- Deal the cards evenly, face down
- Place the cards in front of each player
- Each player turns over the top card at the same time.
- The player with the higher card takes both cards, and adds them to the bottom of his/her deck
- If the players turn over the same value, IT IS WAR! each player lays down one card, face down and another faced up. The player with the higher card collects all cards played (total of 6)
- The games ends when one player has collect all the cards.
